Finding articles and information

Looking for articles, especially scholarly articles? Try searching the e-resources below for your topic. No single resource will have all the articles on your topic so be sure to try more than one.

  • One Search - the advanced search page includes over 40 library databases, the library catalog and open access articles
  • Google Scholar - books and articles indexed by Google
  • Natural Medicines - evidence-based monographs covering health, medicine, food, lactation, sports medicine, complementary and alternative treatments
  • PubMed@SMU  - search MEDLINE databases with links to SMU full text journals
  • Trip Database - an evidence-based, clinical information search engine

Finding the full text

After you locate an article in a database, use the  button to locate the full text.  Ask a librarian if you need help!
