Academic Medicine is committed to assisting medical schools and teaching hospitals, their faculty and trainees, and the public in dismantling racism. This collection of 14 articles was curated with the intent to help readers engage in necessary conversations about race and to inform strategies to eliminate structural racism in their institutions.
The Structural Competency Working Group (a collective of clinicians, scholars, public health professionals, students, educators, and other community members from the San Francisco Bay Area) led a training on structural competency.
