About the Sacramento Campus Library

Library Hours  Students may use the library Monday-Sunday 6 a.m.-10 p.m.  A SMU badge is required to access the library.  Note: The Sacramento Campus Library is not open to the public.

Borrowing Books  The library has a small collection of Books, CDs, NCLEX, and other materials available for checkout.  The loan period is 1-2 weeks (depending on the item). Textbooks are also available for on-campus use.   Find books using our catalog.

OneSearch  Everything in one place: books, ebooks & journal articles. Try the Advanced Search to do a PICO search, limit results to Peer Reviewed articles and more.

Research Databases & Journals   SMU subscribes to several online research databases including CINAHL, PubMed, UptoDate & lots more!   Looking for a specific journal?   Try our Journal A-Z search .   Also, the library can assist students in obtaining journal articles and books that are not available from the SMU library.   These requests may be submitted directly to the Graziano Library the Request Library Materials webform.  Be sure to identify yourself as a student affiliated with Samuel Merritt University.

Services available from the Graziano Library (Oakland)  Sacramento students are welcome to request books and articles located at Oakland’s Graziano Library.
